Peak Pilates® Classical Level 1 Certification
The Peak Pilates® Classical Level 1 Certification is a four-level modular program designed to deliver high quality authentic Pilates education. Peak Pilates® delivers the best Pilates instructor education program in the world and is globally recognised. Our program is Comprehensive covering the mat, reformer, tower, chairs, barrels, and auxiliary equipment. It provides a Classical Pilates education, emphasizing Pilates as an integrated movement system. Graduates of the Comprehensive Program are well equipped for a successful, enduring career in the Pilates industry.

The program will fully equip you to teach private or group to your clients. and to develop your own body technically in the complete level 1 method. The training will comprise a combination of module workshops, observation hours, teaching feedback sessions, as well as self-practice and self-teaching hours. In addition you will have access to the Peak Pilates® learning platform with engaging and interactive learning experiences consisting of digital manuals, exercise video libraries, study guides and your certificates.

The modular pathway allows you to progress at your own pace. Each level consists of specific modules, typically scheduled in the weekends. To achieve the full comprehensive Peak Pilates® certification, globally recognised, you must attend all workshops, complete all modules, log the required hours, and pass all assessments.
agenda
Module 1: The Foundation (20 hours) introduces students to the Pilates principles, fundamentals and the “Powerhouse”, and the Peak Pilates® 5-Part Formula. Lessons focus on introductory mat work and building blocks.
Module 2: Introduction to the Apparatus (20 hours) Students progress to lessons on the reformer, small barrel and high ladder barrel, and learn about transitions, cueing and touch techniques.
Module 3: Module 3 (20 hours) adds Pilates low chair exercises, intermediate level reformer and ladder barrel exercises. More advanced teaching concepts include identifying common errors and proper body alignment, and structuring a Pilates session.
Module 4: Teaching, Technique and Assessments (20 hours) Students complete the remaining high ladder barrel exercises, practice teach, and review all exercises. Assessments are completed on the final day. A Peak Pilates® Level I Certification is awarded to instructors who pass all Level I assessments and complete 120 logged hours.
